Your Personal Spiritual Pathway

The Resting Disciple

Stillness doesn’t prove nothing’s happening. God’s power moves independent of your effort.

Here's What God Is Growing In You, Right Now...

Here's What God Is Growing In You, Right Now...

You’re learning the Pace of Grace

In a hurried, distracted, productivity-addicted world, stillness is a lost art. There’s so much peace, so much beauty found in trusting God without striving to earn His love or prove your worth.

Rest is not laziness; it is warfare against a culture of exhaustion. Lately, you may have felt like God has slowed you down, but He is actually strengthening your foundation. Pause makes room for meaningful connection with God, yourself and those around you in ways living on the run doesn’t.

This season, God is giving you your breath back, teaching you how to receive instead of perform.

  • • Learning dependence instead of self-sufficiency

    • Turning from performance-driven faith to intimacy-driven faith

    • Rebuilding rhythms that protect your peace and emotional capacity

    • Practicing slowness and soul rest without guilt

  • • Sensitivity to God’s presence

    • Desire for depth and intentionality

    • Ability to notice what others miss

    • Deep compassion and gentleness

📖Scriptures To Stand On

Matthew 11:28-30

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.”

Psalm 23:1-3

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭46‬:‭10

““Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!””

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

⏩️Next Steps Forward

1. Make Space for Silence

It’s hard to hear God, to be filled with wonder, to be anchored in peace when you’re always on the go. Slow your pace. Enjoy nature. Starting with 5-10 minutes a day (and building up from there), carve out space for silence and reflection that God may meet you, replenish you and love on you.

2. Less Hustle, More Grace

Jesus lived unhurried. You have permission to get off the hamster wheel of hustle, performing and striving. You cannot earn God’s love. Immerse yourself in the Scriptures, paying careful attention to how God shows up and holds all things together despite humanity’s efforts + flaws. Rather than “trying” harder, embrace the gift of God’s unwavering love + unending grace.

3. Practice saying “no” without guilt

Contrary to popular belief: you cannot do it all. Prayerfully re-evaluate the places, people and commitments you’re giving your “yes” to, and ask God to reveal to you that which he wants you to lay down at this time. You’re not holding everything together; God is.

4. Let God In On It All

Get in the habit of inviting God into your daily rhythm, not just crisis moments or a compartmentalized “quiet time.” Practice letting God in on it all–the messy and the mundane, the good and the beautiful.
